Colombia’s President Gustavo Petro offered a plane again to the immigrant returning from the United States on Sunday in response to a severe warning by President Donald Trump.
In a statement translated by Spain, the Colombian government said that airplanes would help promote “dignified returns.”
“The Colombian government has arranged a presidential plane to promote the dignified return of brothers arriving in today’s country under the direction of President Gustavo Petro.” I read the statement. 。
“This measure corresponds to the government commitment to guarantee a decent situation.”

This movement happened after Trump attacked the South American country with retaliation measures in response to the refusal to accept the expulsion of abroad.
This weekend, American officials sent two illegal aliens in Colombia as part of Trump’s ongoing expulsion program. Petro refused to flight, and the United States wrote, “Colombian immigrants cannot be treated as criminals.”
“I deny the invasion of American airplanes that carry Colombian immigrants to our territory,” Petro said. “The United States must establish a protocol for the dignified treatment of immigrants before receiving immigration.”
