The Wisconsin Attorney General filed a last-minute appeal with the state Supreme Court after rejecting his request to prevent the Court of Appeal from giving two individuals a $1 million check on two people on Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate Green Bayrary on Sunday evening.
The appeals judge said Democrat Joshua Cowl refused an emergency injunction on Saturday.
Kaul asked the 4-3 Liberal majority court to reach the decision “as soon as possible, by the event planned on Sunday evening.”
Musk publicly supported Shimel, donating millions of dollars, and Kaur argued that the gifts violated the state election laws. The technology mogul fired fire after making a similar offer in Pennsylvania in the 2024 presidential election.
