An investigation is underway after an ambulance at the Glendale Fire Station was involved in the crash late Tuesday night while transporting a patient.
The collision was reported shortly before midnight, near Colorado in Glendale and South Central Boulevard.
A spokesman for the Glendale Police Station said the ambulance was transporting patients when it was involved in a collision with the four-door Toyota Prius.

The video shows significant damage to the passenger side of the Prius, causing the ambulance to be destroyed.
A spokesman said two people were taken from the scene where they suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, but a spokesman said there was a power outage in the area when the crash occurred.

It was unclear if the ambulance had passed through the intersection where the lights and sirens were lit.
Nor was there a word on whether the person being transported had suffered further injuries.
