An elderly, at-risk woman who reported missing earlier this month was found dead in Santa Barbara County Tuesday morning, officials said.
On July 14, the California Highway Patrol issued a silver alert for 85-year-old Sonia Langcrestfield, at the request of the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office.
The 85-year-old, believed to have been walking when she disappeared, was last seen on July 11th on El Collegio Road, 6647.

Officials said they saw her last wearing a black sweater, blue jeans, black shoes and white gloves.

Authorities said they had not had contact with anyone for several days and said they could be confused or confused due to dementia issues, but authorities said they reported.
