We were all there. Concert tickets can be made at Wiltern or dinner reservations at Hot New Korean BBQ Restaurant. Finally, you are in Koreatown, but you are infinitely moving around searching for desert oasis in the form of street parking.
When you’re cursing while searching for parking in Koreatown, know that you’re not alone.
Americana at Brand Memes, a popular Instagram account that creates memes that Angelenos can relate to, last month held a “March Madness” style tournament to find out what the worst parking situations are in Los Angeles. Followers vote in polls posted on their Instagram accounts to determine locations such as Dodger Stadium and Westfield Century City, causing poor parking and moving to the next round.

Initially, competition was limited to specific parking or garages in the area. However, when building brackets, Americana left one slot open for wildcards determined by followers. Koreatown was a dominant choice, although not very many.
This week, Brackett’s final was held between Koreatown and the infamous lot of Hollywood Bowl. K-Town edged the iconic concert venue from 53% to 47%.
The third place finisher was in the car park of Trader Joe in Silver Lake.
