President Donald Trump joined the parents of people killed at the hands of illegal immigrants during an event in the White House that urged Congress to pass one big beautiful bill law. The president said the law ensures that illegal immigration and border policies will “not cost any more families.”
At an event on Thursday in the East Room, Trump explained what his family had to experience as “illness” as a result of the previous administration’s open border policy, making people want to cry just thinking about it.
He noted that the GOP spending package, which still must be approved by Senate Republicans, will include provisions that Trump describes as “the most important part of previous border laws to cross the floor of Congress.”
At one point, Trump turned to Joe Abraham. Joe Abraham turned his daughter Katie, who locked up the back of an illegal immigrant immigrant, while traveling 60-70 mph, to Angel Daddy, who lost her daughter Katie.

“We’re going to end this invasion forever, and we’ll always remember your beautiful 20-year-old daughter, Katie,” Trump said.
Trump then highlighted his Texas mother, Sarah Stuart. Sarah Stuart said the president lost his brother to the ongoing fentanyl epidemic created by the US porous border policy.
“Our bills provide billions and billions of dollars to stop fentanyl and other illegal drugs,” Trump said. “We also charge billions of dollars in taxes we levied to other countries like Mexico, Canada and China because we allowed people selling fentanyl to pass through their countries.
On Thursday, shortly before Trump’s “big, beautiful event” at the White House, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced new visa restrictions for families of fentanyl traffickers.

“I get frustrated. I get mad because I’m tired of meeting angel mom and dad,” Trump border emperor Tom Homan said at the event. “You want to talk about family separation? They will bury the children.”
Last month, letters from more than 60 angel moms, fathers and relatives were sent to members of Congress, urging them to hand over Trump’s “big and beautiful bill.”
In addition to hiring more border patrol agents and providing more funding to border walls, the law could increase the addition of detention centres for detained immigrants, scrutiny of potential gang bonds among unaccompanied minors, and speed up deportation to at least one million people a year.

“Each of us lives with a permanent hole in our lives, because illegal immigrants who have never been in this country were allowed to stay and live innocent lives,” the letter states. “These were preventable tragedies, but even so, each year, Washington offers excuses instead of solutions, and that has to be over now.”
