“Squad” Congressman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, DN.Y., downplayed the recent riots in Los Angeles, and blamed the disruption of former President Donald Trump’s unrestrained teenagers, accusing the disruption of immigrants against unrestrained teens, rather than violent anarchists.
Ocasio-Cortez took her to a social media platform to Bluesky on Tuesday, saying Democrats “don’t have to answer every teenager who throws a rock,” and that her party had fallen on the Republican trap for trying to explain why parts of the sanctuary city were in flames.
Instead, she denounced President Trump for the chaotic scene in which several instigators waving Mexican flags, burning property and rocks and Molotov cocktails thrown at law enforcement, and burning Molotov cocktails.

The ugly scene kicked off on Friday prompted Trump to deploy the National Guard and the US Marines.
“The fact that opposition has to take part in this collective delusion is that for some reason, they need to answer all teens who are throwing rocks, carrying 100% that Trump administrators need to answer all teens rather than intentionally causing confusion and breaking the law to blow away violence,” writes Ocasio-Cortez. “They are in charge.”
The rioters were seen throwing rocks at police cars and police, but one violent individual drove past him, abandoning several moving law enforcement agencies in Paramount, California.

He was identified as Elpidio Reina and the image of Reina, released by US lawyer Bill Essayli, clearly shows that he is an adult. He is still massive, and the FBI initially provided a cash reward of $50,000 for information that led to his arrest.
In his second post, Ocasio-Cortez accused Trump of anxiety and wrote that his decision to send immigrants and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to arrest illegal immigrants sparked a response in Los Angeles. Towards victory in November, Trump pledged to carry out the biggest deportation effort in US history, arresting more than 66,000 people and deporting about 65,000 people in the first 100 days of his second presidency.
“It all wasn’t a problem until Trump decided to unleash the violent attacks with grounds in elementary schools, shopping areas and peaceful public spaces. Members of Congress later disappeared and illegally shut down facilities that were escalating the situation.

“Let’s get started,” writes Ocasio-Cortez for X’s competitor Bluesky. She didn’t post a comment on X and instead shared a Bluesky post to her Instagram story.
Meanwhile, the Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday announced that Ice had arrested illegal immigrants who had been deported from Mexico before after allegedly throwing Molotov cocktails at law enforcement amid the riots in Los Angeles on June 7th. He was charged with attempted murder.

The riots also fired fireworks on police officers and vehicles, destroyed property with graffiti, and destroyed windows at the Los Angeles Police Station (LAPD) headquarters.
California Gov. Gavin Newsson and La Mayor Karen Bass also tried to lock Trump into liability.

Meanwhile, the president and his allies argue that he acted boldly and that the situation would have escalated even further if he didn’t.
“If our troops don’t go to Los Angeles, it’s going to be burning on the ground now, just like many of their homes are burning on the ground,” Trump posted on Truth Social Wednesday morning. “The great people in Los Angeles are incredibly lucky that I have decided to come in and help!!!”
