Senator Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. , and Dn.Y. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who has adopted a “Battle Oligarchy” rally west next week, advises supporters to join.
Five years after the Covid-19 pandemic, Fox News Digital can confirm that the RSVP of events in Denver and Las Vegas includes guidance that “masks will be advised to all participants in this event.”
A post shared by conservative podcaster Stephen L. Miller about the Denver event on Friday wondered why masks would be advised for the 2025 outdoor event.
Sanders did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s investigation into mask guidance.

“Sent by a friend. Bernie’s speaking tour advises everyone in attendance to wear a mask. This is an outdoor event,” X-Post accompanied by a screenshot of RSVP.
“He can’t buy elections here in Wisconsin”: Sanders hit Musk with less than 1% in Trump, state.
“We’re still trying out Covid panic politics,” the top comment said.
“Was this from 2020?” asked the content creator.
However, another response rebutted: “They don’t want paid participants to find.”
Reactions to the post are split, and many have unlling to the need for masks just five years after forced closures of the Covid-19 pandemic and social distancing.

Others speculated that masks were a way to protect attendees’ identity. Musks are a common practice to protect protesters’ identities in large-scale demonstrations, such as the pro-Palestinian protest at Columbia University last year.
However, Sanders’ “Olihead of the Battle” event is not a protest. Last weekend, events in Michigan and Wisconsin’s Blue Wall states acted like a traditional campaign rally, with thousands of supporters lined up and earning an inside location to listen to headline speakers.
Sanders announced the west coast legs of his “Fighting Olgarkie” tour with Ocasio-Cortez in a social media video on Friday. Progressive will stop in Nevada, Arizona and Colorado to “conference with towns with workers who are deeply tired of what’s going on in Washington, D.C.
“Nevada, Colorado, Arizona: You deserve the civil servants who will show up for you. It’s time to protect the public interest, promote health care and living wages for everyone, and fight corruption. See you next week,” Ocasio-Cortez said Friday.
The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), a political campaign committee tasked with electing more Republicans to the U.S. House, was advised to City Hall after inviting a series of protests that fueled dissatisfaction with President Donald Trump’s second term.
D-Minn. Gov. Tim Waltz began many of his own City Hall events in the Republican-owned Congressional District on Friday.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) announced on Friday it revised its organizational efforts together with the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), the State Democratic Committee (ASDC) Association (ASDC) and the Democrats to hold city halls in Republican-owned districts.
“Congressional Republicans know they’ve sold out voters by supporting the Trump Musk agenda, and now they’re afraid to be in the same room as those who sent them to Washington,” DNC Chairman Ken Martin said in a statement Friday.
“Instead of facing their constituents, they run in hide and scared from people elected to represent them if they don’t talk to their voters, and Democrats will. So, we now start in the vulnerable GOP-HELD Target District and host people’s town halls in all 50 states across the country.
The NRCC said the protests closing the Republican City Hall meeting were “manufactured productions.” Fox News Digital reported last month on coordinated efforts by progressive groups protesting government efficiency.

Moveon.org, which has accepted millions of dollars from billionaire George Soros and his Open Society Policy Center, announced in a press release last month that he would “work for us” “work for Congress,” which aims to pressure lawmakers to fight Trump Musk Agenda.

In addition to mask guidance, the flyer for next Friday event with Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez includes typical safety precautions for large public events, including requests from people who feel uncomfortable being at home.
“Note: No bags, signs or firearms are permitted. Masks are recommended for all participants in this event. Anyone experiencing fever or other symptoms of Covid-19 will be asked to stay home and not attend,” the RSVP said.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) ended its travel mask mandate on April 18, 2022.
According to the CDC website, masks are “recommended in indoor public transport settings” and “people may choose to wear masks at any time.”
The website advises people who are centred on getting very ill and wearing a mask or “considering considering avoiding essential indoor activities in places that may be exposed in public places.”

The CDC claims that masking can reduce the spread of respiratory diseases, including Covid-19, but other studies have been around since the pandemic questioned the effectiveness of wearing a mask.
