July 7th will be a special day for one family in Apple Valley forever.
During the Drake Family’s Triple Birthday celebration, Nowath Ed Lake welcomed her fourth child on July 7th.
“They weren’t surgery, they all had different dates,” the 26-year-old mother said. “They came just that day.”
Drake had bought pets for Kiwan, 6, Nazaiirah, 4, and Karan, 3.
“She stopped by St. Mary, but when they checked her, she was already five centimetres so there was no turn back,” said her grandmother Lakesha Harrison.
Because each child was born before the due date, all of Drake’s children were born by another doctor.
More than a week after giving birth to Kylova, the family is still speechless about how life has been blown away for their children.
Experts say the chances of having four children without medical surgery on the same day are very rare. Each child also shares a birth mark on the right leg, including the baby.
Although only a handful of managing the four children, Drake said she has a great support system and all of her children offered to help “too much” even fight to see who will help first.
“They’re amazing so I feel lucky. They’re amazing kids,” she said.
Drake hopes to be the best role model for her child as she prepares to graduate from nursing school later this year.
Moving forward, the family said they were planning one big birthday bash for all four children.
