Noem will dump support for foreign immigrants to Democrats
Homeland Security Secretary Christie Noem joined Fox & Friends Weekend to discuss the latest revelation surrounding exiled immigrant Kilmer Abrego Garcia, criticizing Democrats for supporting his case.
Rwanda is reportedly “in discussions with the United States” to receive immigrants who have been deported by the Trump administration.
Rwandan Foreign Minister Olivier Ndungayle told state broadcaster Rwanda Television on Sunday that the East African country “has not reached the stage where we can say exactly how things will progress, but talks are still ongoing…it’s still in the early stages.” “We’re talking with the United States.”
A State Department spokesperson told Fox News Digital on Monday that implementing the Trump administration’s immigration policy is a top priority and that they are working closely with partners and local leaders to end the illegal immigration and massive migration crisis.
The spokesman added that while continuing involvement with foreign governments is essential to achieving that goal, he noted that the State Department has not publicly discussed the details of diplomatic communication.

Rwanda’s Foreign Ministry did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Fox News Digital on Monday.
At a cabinet meeting last week, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, “We’re going to countries all over the world and saying, ‘Hey, you want a good relationship with the US, you need to get back those who are illegal here.” And we have gone beyond that and have historically collaborated.
“So, we want to work with El Salvador, not just with other countries, actively working with “these countries of some of the sleazy people. And the farther away from America, the better, they can’t return across the border,” Rubio added.

In a 2023 report on the human rights situation in Rwanda, the State Department said, “There are reliable reports of arbitrary or illegal killings of serious killings.”
Rwanda had previously agreed to accept thousands of asylum seekers with the UK in 2022, but the deal was scrapped last year by Kiel Prime Minister Stage, Reuters reported.
