Two men were arrested at a Riverside County high school earlier this week after authorities received reports of armed robbery.
The March 11 incident unfolded in the 23,000 block of Cougar Canyon Road, Moreno Valley, around 5:10 p.m., according to a news release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators did not specifically identify Canyon Springs High School in a news release, but the campus is the only high school located in that part of Cougar Canyon Road.
Authorities said the school’s resource aide immediately began an investigation into the armed robbery allegations, identifying two suspects identified as Noah Arias, now 18-year-old Moreno Valley resident, and the juvenile.

It is unclear whether any of the two suspects will attend school.
“The firearm used in the incident was in a vehicle parked on campus,” the release said.

Both suspects were taken into custody, minors were booked at the juvenile hall to possess firearms and ammunition on the school campus, and Arias was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for the same charge.
As of 9pm, KTLA was unable to contact school staff for comment, but authorities said district administrators were fully cooperating with the investigation.
