Officials at the Los Angeles Police Department have been confirmed to have arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of an American Idol executive and her husband.
The couple, identified by police as Robin Kay and 70-year-old Thomas DeLuca, 70, were found dead on July 14th of multiple gunshot wounds, including the head, after responding to White Oak Avenue in the 4700 block for welfare checks at about 2:30pm on LapD News.
During the investigation, detectives learned that a prior radio call was made to a possible robbery at the residence around 4pm on July 10th.
Speaking to KTLA, neighbor Amee Faggen confirmed that the tenant of her property had made a 911 call that day after she found someone climbing the property fence that day.
Police said during their investigation there were no signs of mandatory entry or trouble at the residence, but they believe the suspect, currently identified as Encino resident Raymond Boudarian, entered the home through an unlocked door.
“He was there for about half of the time,” Lapd Guy Golan said at a press conference. “When the homeowners returned to their residence, a violent struggle continued between them and the suspect. The suspect was already inside the house, and the victim tragically lost his life.”
Police say the 22-year-old fled the area on foot after a fatal conflict.

LAPD arrested Boudarian today, with the support of the FBI’s fleeing task force, but no information was provided as to where he was taken.
Kaye has been an award-winning music producer since 2009 and is part of the “American Idol” family, and has also worked on Miss Universe, the NAACP Image Awards and other well-known shows.

A spokesman for “American Idol” issued a statement to KTLA:
“We are devastated to hear of Robin and her dear husband Tom, who has been the cornerstone of the idol family since 2009 and has been truly loved and respected by everyone who has come into contact with her.
Security expert Guy Cohen was working with the couple just a few months ago after Kay and Delca became victims of an invasion of their previous home.
“We discussed with them a few months ago and you might think it’s just heartbreaking to make sure this doesn’t happen,” he told KTLA.
Although police have not yet determined the motive, investigators are trying to determine whether Boudarian has a relationship with the couple and whether he was involved in past calls for service at the residence.
