Don’t worry, Southern California, you can take a romantic Valentine’s Day walk without an umbrella on Friday nights.
However, as the National Weather Service points out, it won’t dry completely on Friday. Scattered showers mean short, unpredictable attacks of rainfall, and are expected to move from north to south throughout the day.
People in Ventura and Los Angeles counties can expect the scattered showers to end by midnight, but the counties of Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego should be clear by evening.

Scattered showers should not bring trace amounts of rain to each community.
As for the weekend, sunny Saturdays bring what the NWS called “comfortable” conditions. High temperatures are expected between the mid-60s and 70s in LA, Ventura, San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

Early forecasts showed similar conditions early and in the middle of next week, but more precipitation could be in shape on Thursday.
