First Fox: The Department of Homeland Security has released a video honoring late Marine Corps veteran Nicholas Quetz, highlighting his death at the hands of the Sinaloa Cartel.
“Drug cartels are called what they really are: Foreign Terrorist Organizations,” the two and a half minute video shows an interview with retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Warren D.
The cartel members shot him in the heart in the back after trying to steal a Quetz pickup truck, ending his life at the age of 31.
“I felt validated and proven,” Quetz’s father says in the video, explaining how Trump spoke about his son’s death after not receiving feedback from the Biden administration or the Kamala Harris campaign.

“If we designate all these organizations as foreign terrorist organizations, it will be safer for us and put them on defense. We want to send a message that targeting Americans has legal consequences. I would like to thank President Trump. [DHS] Secretary [Kristi] Noem to be a good steward of the dollars, effort and resources of American taxpayers, who devote their lives to protecting others. ”
In the video, Quetz’s mother said, “I want to thank everyone who put this together and gave it a voice.”
In a press release, DHS outlined how “we took decisive action to dismantle the drug cartel.” This gave him the ability to sign an executive order on the first day he took office, “designating drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations and to “crack” sex trafficking operations from American cartels.”

Additionally, Quetz’s 32nd birthday was when the Treasury Department announced sanctions against six individuals and seven entities allegedly running a money laundering scheme supporting the Sinaloa cartel.
“Nicolas Quetz was a patriot who served our country in honor and was killed by the cowards of the cartel who shot him in the back. President Trump and Secretary Noem respect his memory by dismantling the Sinaloa cartel and other drug cartels by profiting from trafficking, violence and lawlessness.”
“President Trump’s strong leadership and these arrests and prosecutions of Earth’s Scum Cartel leaders have come to fruition.

In an interview with Fox News Digital leading up to the presidential election, Quetz’s father said, “I believe Donald Trump is the man of his words — not a billionaire, the person I spoke to face to face.”
“America has become a little weaker. My family has been destroyed, but America has become a little weaker. Mexico has become a little weaker. Those cartels have become a little stronger.
