Anyone looking for a wild horse or burro to make their own phone can adopt it from local law enforcement on Saturday.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office is working with the U.S. Department of Interior’s Ridgecrest Area Wild Horse and Barro Enclosures to adopt enforcement details and provide horses and barros for adoption.

A total of 17 animals remained employed for Saturday’s adoption after the “successful first day” adoption on Friday. This year marks the second iteration of the department’s wild horse and Barro adoption event.

It will be held on Saturdays from 8am to 4pm at the Industry Hills Expo Center at 16200 Temple Avenue in Industrial Street.

Adoptions are first coming, first served, and applications will be approved on-site. Those who employ them will have to pay a $125 adoption fee.
