Actress Aubrey Plaza made his first public appearance since the death of her husband, who passed away at the age of 47 last month and longtime partner Jeff Bena.
On Sunday, Plaza was one of the presenters for the 50th anniversary special of Saturday Night Live. We featured singer Miley Cyrus and Alabama Shakes Front Woman’s performance of “Nothing Campares 2 U.”
It was the Plaza’s first public opening since the discovery of Baena at her Los Angeles-area home on January 3rd.

Baena co-written the 2004 comedy “I Heart Huckabees” and launched a successful filmmaking career in which he saw the Plaza in person in the films “Life After Beth” and “Spin Me Round.” The couple were together for over a decade before tying the knot in 2020.
The 40-year-old Plaza starred as April Rudgate, a third-nick intern on NBC’s Parks and Recreation, and as an intern on SNL, before finding wider success in “White Lotus” and Marvel’s “Agatha” Start a career and host later. Program for 2023.
During her brief Sunday night appearance, she wore a netty shirt under a black blazer, a tribute to her husband.
In a 2021 interview on “Drew Barrymore Show,” Plaza said Baena picked up Teedi as a hobby and eventually got married wearing one of his works.
“Jeff was really tied up during quarantine, so Jeff and I decided to wear the Tidai pajamas he made for us,” she said at the time.
