It has been reported that Jeff Baena, a film writer and director known for his marriage to Hollywood actress Aubrey Plaza, has died at the age of 47.
The news was first reported by TMZ. Baena was found dead by an assistant at his home in the Los Angeles area around 10:30 a.m. Friday, the newspaper said.

Baena reportedly died by suicide.
He made his directorial debut in 2014 with Life After Beth, starring Dane DeHaan, John C. Reilly, and Plaza. He was also known for his work on “Little Hours” and “Horse Girl,” which he not only directed but also wrote and produced.
Baena dated Plaza for nearly 10 years until their 2020 wedding, and they announced their marriage in 2021.
As of Saturday morning, Plaza, 40, had not yet spoken publicly about her husband’s death.
