Authorities said Monday that they captured three of the 10 escapes that have escaped from Louisiana prison this month.
The Louisiana State Police, published by Louisiana State Police on Platform X, found that one of the men was arrested by local police in Baton Rouge, while the other two were arrested in Walker County, Texas.
Two more inmates remained in LAM, state police said.
Authorities have been scrutinizing New Orleans for men after fleeing in a bold escape on May 16th. The man pulled the broken cell phone door inside the prison, squeezed it through the hole behind the toilet, shrinking the barbed wire fence, and escaped into darkness.
The inmate’s absence was not found until morning personnel a few hours after bolting for freedom.
City and state officials point to multiple security lapses at the prison.
Louisiana authorities have appointed the latest prisoners to be recaptured as Renton Van Bren, Leo Tate and Jermaine Donald.
New Orleans officials announced that 10 people had erupted from Orleans parish prison early Friday morning. One inmate was captured and three officials were suspended.
Many of the men were originally in New Orleans prison, awaiting sentence or trial for alleged violent crimes, including murder.
