One Senator’s dog is excavating the goodwill of “Bipautisan” on Capitol Hill this week.
Babydog Justice, a well-known companion to West Virginia Republican Sen. Jim Justice, visited the Senate Thursday, and the political spectrum senators couldn’t contain their appreciation.

“I love being able to come with me on the Senator’s floor and come with her as soon as the Senator leaves. I think if Babydog moderates the debate of spending going around here, we might cross the finish line.
Babydog sparked headlines nationwide at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee last year, where she appeared on the stage at the Fizeb Forum alongside Justice, then the governor of West Virginia.
“I know a lot of people want to see my little guys, so I hope the baby dogs can come out here,” Justice said before the crowd erupted in cheers.
