Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has been criticising from prominent city council members who accused former Los Angeles Fire Department chief Christine Crowley of “misinating the facts.”
Crawley was fired Friday and was fired after a sudden announcement from the bus. Bus said the removal of Crawley after the Palisades fire and other flames in January was “for the greatest public safety benefits in Los Angeles and the operation of the Los Angeles Fire Department.”
“We know that 1,000 firefighters who could have been on duty in the mornings have occurred. “And the necessary step into the investigation is the chairman of the fire committee and Chief Crawley. The goal was to tell them to give an action report on the fire. The chief refused.”
District 7 Councillor Monica Rodriguez spoke with KTLA’s Annie Rose Ramos on Monday morning.

Rodriguez said the usual procedure for post-action reporting was because the justification base used was “not happening within a week” and “it was exactly a week ago when I wiped it from the rain just a week ago.” It was explained that it would be carried out against the above.
“The suggestion that Chief Crawley didn’t agree to join really misses the mark of the protocol,” Rodriguez said.
Rodriguez also accused Bus of “misinforming the facts” surrounding Crawley’s firing, but she declined to question Ramos about whether she felt the mayor hadn’t told the truth.

The bus, which received enormous criticism for traveling to Ghana just before the dangerous situation that caused a massive wildfire, said Crawley did not warn her of danger before the trip. However, Rodriguez noted that since the bus left the country, he has been president of the proxy mayor (district 8) council, and was a major contact rather than a bass.
Additionally, Rodriguez said she and others were properly notified by Crawley when the fire affected the district.
As Politico reports, Rodriguez is not far from supporting Crawley’s return to work, which could come from the city council.
In the meantime, Crawley issued a statement over the weekend saying that “it was an absolute honor to represent and guide the man and woman of one of the greatest fire stations in the world.”
“I’m based on my actions and decisions on caring for our firefighters, to look after them,” she said. “It has led me throughout my career to serve others before me, to have the courage and integrity to do the right thing, and to lead with compassion, love and respect. I have led me through my career, to serve others before me, to do the right thing. I have led me through my career. I am extremely proud of my dedication and civilians.”
The mayor’s office did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
