I-Vt. Sen. Bernie Sanders of the film, announced during an interview that aired Sunday on CNN’s “The State of the Union,” whether he would run for president again in 2028.
“Don’t worry about that,” he told host Dana Bash. “The truth is, I’ll be 84 next month. I think that speaks to itself.”
Sanders said the “more important” is “to educate, organize and give working class people the agenda. “In fact, we can provide an appropriate standard of living for all.”
Bash suggested to Sanders that without leadership, “a very hungry, energetic base with the idea of what they want” would not evoke change.

On Sunday, Sanders will be in Asheville, North Carolina. The tour stop venue had to be changed from a 2,400-sized venue to a venue with approximately 7,200 seats.
