The National Republican Senators Committee (NRSC) appeared to predict more potential trips from members of Upper Chamber’s minority, Maryland Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen, who supported Senator El Salvador, and in an ad Tuesday, supporting gang member Kilmer Garcia.
“¡bienvenidos a el salvador shenate dems!”, the NRSC said in a statement.
“Democrats need to travel freely to hang out one way with the MS-13 Gangbangers.”
The ads mimic the typical beach tourist ads as the narrator begins, and the video mimics “Welcome to El Salvador.”

“Breathtaking sunsets, world-class surf breaks, and the home of gang banger Kilmer Abrego Garcia.”
The narrator continues, calling it “their destination (emphasis) for the Democratic Party, seeking the thrill of returning violent criminals back to America.”
Van Hollen was about to negotiate a Garcia release so that he could return to lawmakers in Maryland, where his family lives. Garcia is a Salvador citizen.
“With the Trump Mad Syndrome in its purest form,” the narrator adds.
“From Chris Van Hollen to Corey Booker. You might even see John Ossoff.”
Kilmar Garcia currently wins five total Dem supporters in El Salvador
Senator Chris Van Hollen speaks from left to right at a press conference arriving after his encounter with El Salvador Kilmer Abrego Garcia, Cecilia Garcia and Jennifer Vasquez Sula, who was held on April 18, 2025 at Washington Dulles International Airport.
Booker did not respond to requests for comment both last week and Monday after the ad was released.
An Ossoff spokesman told Fox News Digital:
The ad continued:
“So, Senate Democrats, what are you waiting for? Join your colleagues and step into the rhythm of rescue today,” the ad ends with a “rhythm of rescue” in wavy blue text overlaid on the coastal scene.
Nearby Columbia recently used its “feeling rhythm” to its tourist slogan.
Since Van Hollen returned to the US without Garcia, four Democrats: Yassamin Ansari of Arizona, Maxine Dexter of Oregon, Robert Garcia of California and Maxwell Frost of Florida have traveled jointly to San Salvador.

Homeland Security released a new document this week that states that Abrego Garcia, who was imprisoned in El Salvador after his deportation from the United States, is clearly proven.
Salvadora President Naive Buquere said earlier this month that sending Garcia to the US was “absurd” at the White House, but he originally did not legally enter the country.
