California sheriffs are pushed back to media stories about Trump’s deportation nationwide, saying that the media and ice attacks on the other side in the streets will injure people.
“It’s all horrifying,” Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco told Fox News Digital. “So the reality is that the ice is only the people who are already deported due to crime issues. That’s all. The lie is that they’re raiding and passing through the community.
Last month, the Associated Press reported that volunteers and activists were trying to disrupt ice efforts in Los Angeles by warning residents of the presence of ice with bulls and sirens.
Bianco, who recently announced he was running for California governor, told Fox News Digital that anyone blocking the ice operation is a “criminal crime” and could be arrested.

“The reality is that all of these people have federal warrants to be deported,” Bianco said. “They are already going through this process. They have already sacrificed us. They are not here to live a better life for themselves. They were here to sacrifice us.
Bianco also warned of potential dangers to the community that could hinder ice behavior.
Trump administrators end deportation protections for massive Venezuelans amid oppression of illegal immigration
Venezuelan immigrants deported from the United States arrived at Simon Bolivar International Airport in Michaelitia, Venezuela on February 20, 2025.
“It’s going to cause conflict with these federal law enforcement officials and people will get hurt,” Bianco explained. “Law enforcement will get hurt. People will get hurt, and in some circumstances it’s likely that they’ve been killed, which is absolutely ridiculous.”
Bianco continued. “All of these people, they really don’t even know what they’re protesting. They’re protesting because they believe in fraudulent politicians, they believe in these activist groups, which is unfortunate. It’s very unfortunate.”

Trump continues to focus deportation as the focus of his immigration programme, and his promised border crackdown appears to have affected groups of migrants who are attempting to illegally enter the United States.
Despite the deportation of criminal immigrants, many of them have been accused of heinous crimes, but many Democratic politicians have pledged to refuse to treat the ice against his orders.
“The media should report the truth. Politicians should tell the truth,” Bianco said. “But I know that the only way these politicians can win is to create this disparity. We have to have this emotional disparity that separates us by race, gender and all these different things.
