Senate minority leader Charles Schumer, DN.Y., did not save the respect of his fellow New York natives when he kicked off what he had previously promoted on the Senate floor, what he had been up against President Donald Trump for his first 100 days of action.
Speaking just before the effort was interrupted by two scheduled votes, including confirmation of the final ambassador for the day, Schumer said it was a 100-day “corruption” [and] Chronism “forces a much higher cost to Americans.” That’s really awful. ”
“[T]He is a threat to our Democratic Republic. He acts like a king, a mob boss, an aspiring dictator,” Schumer fumed.
“He said he wanted to be a dictator on the first day. He appears to be expanding it – the quarter of the opposite that might say something in our free speech and debate tradition, he tries to crush: crush law firms, crush universities, crush judges, the foundation of our Republic, the judges are independent, and it could go too far.”

“Let all of our Democrats here in the Senate stand against this administration and support the core values and principles of this beautiful country that we must fight for preservation and protection.”
Earlier in the day, Schumer was being challenged by CNN’s Manu Raju for his sunk poll numbers within his party.
Schumer dismissed the charges: “The polls go back and forth: our party is united.”
Senator Richard Blumenthal took a shot at the president, saying he was “cruel…and stupid.”

“The confusion and turbulence have caused confusion, and yes, it creates anxiety, deep fear and anxiety about the future of this country,” he said.
D-Wis. Sen. Tammy Baldwin of the film began her remarks Tuesday by lamenting what she called “the president of unimaginable chaos and harm that President Donald Trump caused for Wisconsinians.”
“Along the campaign trail and while in office, the president has made incredible numbers of promises — on the first day we promise to end the war, on the first day we promise to cut costs at grocery stores — on the first day we promise to make healthcare more affordable, and the list goes on and on.”

White House press director Karoline Leavitt told Fox News Digital when asked about his statement, “In the first 100 days, President Trump has already achieved hundreds of promises and has already achieved two of his most important campaign goals – the border is safe and inflation is over.”
“The next 100 days will consist of trade contracts, peace deals and tax cuts. More American greatness is ongoing,” Leavitt said.
It was again suspended by a procedural vote from Sen. John Husted on the Energy Standards Bill.
