Sen. Cory Booker, DN.J., spoke on the Senate floor all night to President Donald Trump and Elon Musk after he began his marathon speech at 7pm Monday.
The senator was speaking on the floor at 6am Tuesday, 11 hours after he began.
Booker received some support from other Senate Democrats who allowed him to speak from time to time during the show against the Trump administration during the hours of opposition.

Towards the beginning of his speech, Booker said 71 days later that “American security, financial stability, the core foundation of democracy, and even our aspirations as people from our best offices have done a great deal of harm to the opinions of common decency.”

D-Conn. Sen. Chris Murphy said he plans to join Booker “for his entire speech,” but said he “is “returning his favor” when Booker joined the company nine years ago when he launched Filibuster to demand gun violence.
Murphy was one of the Democrats who provided Booker with some relief by sometimes talking to interrupt marathon sessions.
In a social media video, Murphy described her colleague’s efforts as “extraordinary.”

Booker said in the video before beginning his demonstration that he plans to continue talking as long as he is “physically capable.”
