A 15-year-old boy from San Bernardino was shot dead in Orange County over the weekend, officials said.
Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department responded to a July 5 report of gun violence in the 1100 block of Court Street, Stanton, around 2pm.
“Several callers described the two male boys who were shot,” an OCSD news release said. “A lawmaker has arrived and found two subjects suffering from a gunshot wound.”
The 15-year-old, now identified as Samuel Louis Vidal, was rushed to the hospital and later declared he died.
