Brown University, an Ivy League facility in Providence, Rhode Island, has agreed to fire workforce development organisations state-to-state as part of a deal with the US government.

President Donald Trump congratulated the school with a post on True Society.

“Congratulations to Brown University on a settlement with the US government. There are no more anti-Semitics, anti-Christians or opposition! The President declared in a post.

Ohio’s state president argues that Columbia’s settlements will place Ivy League College in “survival mode.”

President Donald Trump will give a thumbs up while walking to Marines on the South Lawn as he leaves the White House in Washington, D.C. on June 6, 2025.

Trump’s Secretary of Education Linda McMahon also tackled the deal in a statement.

“The Trump administration has successfully reversed the decades-long awakened acquisition of our country’s institutions of higher education. Due to the Trump administration’s resolution agreement with Brown University, aspiring students are judged solely by their merits, not race or sex. She argued.

“Recovering our country’s higher education institutions into a place dedicated to academic merit, civil debate, seeking truths that allow all students to learn freely from discrimination and harassment is a lasting legacy of the Trump administration, which will benefit students and American society for the future.”

Brown President Christina Paxon, who discussed the agreement in a lengthy message to members of the Brown community, indicated that the school had entered the agreement “voluntarily.”

She noted that it does not involve payments to the federal government.

“Beyond the financial stresses of termination and unpaid research grants and contracts, we observed the growing driving forces for government invasion into the basic academic activities of the university.

“We stick behind the commitment we have repeatedly asserted to protect all members of our community from harassment and discrimination, protecting our faculty and students’ ability to study and learn academic subjects that we have freely chosen from censorship,” she writes.
