The search continues with a California woman and her eight-month-old daughter who disappeared on her way home after the appointment of a doctor, authorities and their family said.

It’s been more than two weeks since the last time Whisper Owen and her daughter Sandra McCarty were seen, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say they have no clue when they lost the Sacramento pair, and their loved ones are searching for it wonders.

“It’s really hard for me to imagine constantly that my mother shuts out my brain and imagine what happened to her,” Owen’s mother, Vicki Torres, shed tears. “And that beautiful little baby. God, I hope she’ll be with her mom, what happened.”

In mail to social media, the sheriff’s office said no information was found explaining the loss of failure. The Fresno Police Station’s Missing Persons Unit is leading the investigation, and there were no new developments to report on Wednesday evening.

“There is nothing in the current missing person investigation to lead them to believe that foul plays are related to whispers.

Law enforcement is seeking the help of the public. Officials and family are searching for the area where Sacramento’s mom and her baby were last seen.

Torres confirmed that Owen and his daughter would leave Sacramento around 4am on July 15th, head south to Fresno to go to appoint a baby doctor. Owen stopped by Torres’ house in Fresno to change Sandra’s diapers and checked in for the appointment at 8:30am, Torres said.

Owen then visited his brother Fresno until about 2:45pm and stopped at home to see Torres again before leaving town at about 5pm, Torres said. Owen drove a 2006 Chevrolet Rail Blazer and license plate readers recognized her car at 8am that night in Atwater, about 65 miles from Fresno.

Torres said Owen stopped by Atwater to get a baby formula for Sandra and use the toilet. Security footage from the Atwater smoke shop captured Owen’s parking lot around 7:30pm and changed baby diapers.

That was the last sign of Owen, her daughter or her car.

Torres said Owen often spends days at her home in Fresno at a time, so her partner wasn’t worried when she didn’t return home that night. Three days later, Owen’s partner called Torres and asked where his daughter was.

“I said, ‘What do you mean? She’s not here,'” Torres told the Times. “So at that point everything started to scare me.”

Since then, her family has been searching for tireless roads from Fresno to Sacramento, saying employees have reached out to businesses that may have seen Owen, put flyers and spread the word on social media.

She also said that Owen experienced pre-lamp symptoms during her recent pregnancy and was hospitalized several times with high blood pressure that continued after she gave birth. Torres was worried that Owen might be in a medical emergency while driving. She said it’s easy to create an info-free and annoying scenario.

Torres said the situation was painful for the whole family.

Owen and her partner are Sandra’s parents, ages 3 and 9. She also has a 16 year old child from a previous relationship.

“All of these kids are losing their hearts,” Torres said. “I mean, she didn’t just run away. … She has other children. I mean, no.”

Owen’s partner, who refused to name him and did not immediately respond to Times’ request for comment, said, “We’re constantly searching and he’s exhausting all of our resources,” she said.

Torres said he was unhappy with the lack of information found so far. She has contacted other agencies, including the Department of Justice, the FBI and the Sacramento Police Department, to seek assistance in the investigation.

“They all blew me away,” Torres said.

However, Sacramento Police said in a statement to the Times that the department supported Fresno in the investigation. A Justice Department spokesman said the agency posted Owen and her daughter on the California public missing person website. .

On Thursday morning, the FBI introduced questions about the incident to the Fresno Police Station.

Torres described her daughter as an open and trustworthy person.

“A lot of people love her,” Torres said. “I’ve never met someone my daughter didn’t like.”

Fresno police said the team is checking shelters for families in Sacramento County and Owen and her daughter’s surrounding area.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office advised the public to dial 911 if they saw Owen and her daughter or vehicle.
