The amount of damages Newsom is requesting, including Fox Corp. and its cable network, Fox News, agreed to pay Dominion’s voting system in April 2023, and to settle Dominion’s lawsuit in Delaware.
“If Fox News wants to lie to Americans on behalf of Donald Trump, that’s what it should be like with Dominion, that’s what it would be,” Newsom told Politico in a statement in the lawsuit.
“I will continue to fight their propaganda machinery until Fox is willing to become true,” Democrats told the news outlet.
