Police at the Capitol Building arrested dozens of demonstrators outside Capitol Rotunda and Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., as members of the Senate continued to discuss President Donald Trump’s “big, beautiful bill.”
The Associated Press said protesters are protesting Republican taxes and protesting spending reduction bills on two different sites.
One of the sites was the Capitol and the other was at an intersection near the US Capitol.
Police at the U.S. Capitol told the Associated Press that they arrested facial charges including crowding, obstruction and neglecting.

Fox News Digital has contacted Capitol Police in the US for additional information regarding the arrest.
Images of the protest within the Rotunda showed demonstrators holding signs that read, “Cutting to snaps is a policy murder.” One man at the demonstration had a shirt with the words “Campaign of the Poor People.”

Outside the Capitol, some of the protesters carried black wooden ffin with red signs that read “178,000 Florida lose Medicaid”, “This co represents a policy murder”, and that “574,000 Florida lose snaps.”
Other cos had signs of similar numbers, but in states such as West Virginia, Illinois and Kentucky.

Several people who were performing the demonstration also wore religious outfits.
One of the protest groups was called the Violation Repairers. In a statement obtained by the Associated Press, the organization argued that it had insisted on the efforts, adding that the demonstration would continue its tradition of non-violent action at the Capitol, face unfair policies and call on the nation to the highlands.
The protests come as Republican lawmakers sprint to pass a massive law to advance Trump’s agenda, in time for the July 4 deadline.

The Budget Adjustment Bill, if passed, will advance the president’s agenda on taxes, immigration, energy, defense and government bonds. This law is currently in the hands of the Senate.
