Two suspected street racers caused a violent crash on the 110 highway in South Los Angeles early Sunday morning, sending four vehicles through four vehicles in all northbound lanes.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Chaos was caught in a dramatic video, but it unfolded around 2:30am near Florence Avenue.
CHP officials said two separate conflicts were involved in the incident and are being investigated as a hit and run.
Footage obtained by KTLA shows a dangerously white and black sedan woven between the vehicles, making it appear as if they were racing while recklessly blocking other drivers.
At the start of the video, a white car leads and a black car is nearby. When a white car turns around a driver that is not involved, the black car tries to track it, but fails destructively.
The black sedan then cuts out three lanes and instead squeezes between the two cars on either side, it hits the bystander on the right, causing a violent chain reaction.
The first car spun out and sent sparks flying down the highway before slamming it against the guardrail. Along the way, they hit another car, which shoots at the exit of Gauge Avenue at high speed.

The first impact force sends the vehicle bouncing off the suspicious vehicle onto another vehicle on the left. The vehicle is pushed over five lanes before it appears to regain control near the central central part.
The CHP and the Los Angeles fire station crew arrived quickly and shut down all northbound lanes to assess damage and confirm injuries. Lafd confirmed that no one was being carried out from the scene.
It remains unclear whether the arrest was made, but Scene.tv’s newsstringer service reports that a black sedan and three other severely damaged vehicles were towed from the scene. The white sedan, believed to be involved, reportedly escaped without stopping.
