Since its creation in 2012, KCON has welcomed hundreds of thousands of fans and celebrated K-pop and Korean culture, including food, fashion and more. The 2025 KCON took place on August 1-3 with performances by top K-pop stars including NCT 127, Aespa, Baby Do cry, AlldayProject, Monsta X, Hwasa, P1Harmony, Zerobaseone, Riize, Lee Young-Ji, Roy, Roy, Jackson Wang, Meovv and more, and is built on the huge success of last year’s article.
In addition to the performance, fans will also have the opportunity to enjoy panel discussions, K-Beatty workshops and authentic Korean cultural experiences. (It goes without saying that LA’s very own Koreatown is quickly driving away from the arena.) Sung Han Bin will act as MC for all three days, with additional MCS Seok Matthew, Ricky and Zhang Hao each taking part in one day.
Last year’s KCON included Primetime Live broadcasts on CW. This includes the K-Pop concerts being aired nationwide and a diverse lineup of K-Pop artists from the start, from five to five generations. The 2024 installment saw over 125,000 people in person and tuned 5.8 million viewers through the digital platform.
The ultimate celebration of Korean pop culture is immersed in everything that began as a niche convention, exploding into a global phenomenon, attracting thousands of fans. A fan of part music festivals, some cultural fairs, and all the screams, KCON has become a love letter to Korean culture. Whether you’re a longtime Stan or curiosity, KCON offers an unforgettable weekend of connection, creativity and choreography.
