Chipotle Mexican Grill is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a five-day campaign offering authentic food, real fun and real prizes, including free burritos through a new interactive experience at Roblox.
On May 5th, from 3pm on PST, the high-speed chain will debut “Engredient Quest,” a digital scavenger hunt, within the Burrito Builder game at Roblox. This experience allows users to collect virtual material cards with 53 real materials from Chipotle and get a chance to win a free entree.

“Our fans love celebrating Cinco de Mayo with our real ingredients,” Chipotle Chief Brand Officer Chris Blunt said in a statement. “This year, the Roblox community will compete for free Chipotle and learn more about what makes the brand unique along the way.”
Here’s how the Roblox experience works:
In the Burrito Builder experience, Roblox users meet employees in Chipotle’s virtual restaurant. The user will then receive a starter pack of five unique ingredient cards and begin the ingredient quest experience. The goal of the Ingredient Quest is to collect all 53 Ingredient Cards. Users will need to obtain Burrito Bucs, which can be rolled burritos with Burrito Builder, and exchanged for material card packs. Each card pack contains 5 cards, and 40 material cards are available in the card pack. The remaining eight material cards are hidden throughout Chipotle’s Burrito Builder Experience in Virtual Scavenger Hunt. The first 50,000 users who collect all 53 unique material cards will unlock the free Antrée offer. KFC’s fan favorite chicken & waffle combo will return to the national menu
In addition to the Roblox game, Chipotle will offer $0 shipping fee with promo code delivery from May 1-5, and will offer free tips and queso swings on Antrée purchases from May 3-5 using Code Cinco25. Both promotions are only valid on Chipotle websites and mobile apps in the US and Canada.
