South Dakota’s Governor Christie Noem did not meet his schedule early on Saturday, but was appointed Secretary of Land Security at home by the Supreme Court’s Clarence Thomas.

The ceremony was initially scheduled to be held at 3:00 pm in the Indian Convention Campaign in the Navy Ministry of the Navy of the Washington DC’s Eisen Hower Building, but was postponed many times.

Noem shared the video of that moment with X after 6:30 pm

Senate, Christie Noem, approved President Trump as Secretary -General of the Ministry of Land Security

“I’m very honored to be the US Secretary of Land Security,” she wrote in the post. “Clarence Thomas Supreme Court has sworn at home, and this ceremony has become even more meaningful. Thank you, President.” [Donald] President Trump trusted me to protect American safety. “

Louisiana’s Governor Jeff Laundry shared photos of the event at X before 6:00 pm and stated that Noem would play its role.

Laundry wrote in a post, “I was honored to be able to participate in Sharon and I was able to participate in the oath ceremony of the Secretary of Land Security @kristinoem.” “Thanks to her and @RealDonalDtrump, the United States will be safer and stronger.” [President Donald Trump]Leadership of. And the Americans will be the highest again! “

Fox news correspondent reported that John Tune’s General Affairs, Senator Bernie Moreno, and Senator Mike Rounds attended the Indian Treaty Office and waited for the first ceremony.

Vice President, Taylor Van Kirk, told Fox News that the oath was “scheduled”.

“We are excited about the changes that DHS is aware of and the job they will do to secure borders,” Kirk said.

Christie Noem broke the hurdle of the Senate approval and advanced to the final voting of DHS.

Prior to this, the Senate has approved Nom as a secretary of the Ministry of Land Security, with 59 to 34 in favor of 59 to 34, and became the fourth person who has been approved by Trump.

She said that one of Noem’s top priority was to secure the safety of the southern border and restore the broken immigration system.

Noem stated in a statement that “the Trump administration will re -authorize the brave men and women of the enforcement agency, carry out duties, and eliminate foreign criminals and illegal gangs from Japan.” “We fully equip an intelligence agency and law enforcement agency to discover and prevent threats of terrorism, and provide prompt support and disaster relief to Americans who have fallen into crisis.”

The Trump administration has already taken measures for border security, such as the deployment of the military, the resumption of wall construction, and the end of the previous administration’s parole.

Before the oath, the president screamed at Noem at a rally in Las Vegas as being “tough.”

“I am grateful to President Trump and the U.S. Senate for trusting me,” she wrote. “We will work together to guarantee that the United States will be a lighthouse of free, safety and safety for the future generations.”

Before taking a new position, Noem was the first female governor of South Dakota. In 2021, she pledged that no more immigrants would be accepted by the Biden administration and deployed a state soldier at the Texas border.

Noem was the owner of a rancher, farmers, and small and medium -sized enterprises, and was selected as the only U.S. House of Representatives in South Dakota after working as a member of the South Dakota State Congress.
