(KTLA) — More changes have taken shape for Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion ride, including a new look and updated story for the mansion’s ghostly bride.
Using the latest projection technology, the bride appears to be floating in front of guests holding a physical three-pronged candlestick, the Los Angeles Times reported. She also comes with a beating red heart, an homage to the attraction’s original bride figure.
Unlike previous bridal scenes in which former bride Constance Hatchaway was depicted wearing a wedding dress and holding a hatchet, there is a correlation to her more sinister backstory, and the new bride is more grief-stricken. , looking love-sick.
