The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating another home break-in in Encino in the middle of the day Thursday.

While patrols in the area are already on the rise as part of LAPD’s latest strategy to prevent crime at Encino, residents are being wary of this latest invasion.

The neighbor said he was scared and tired after a series of invasions.

The latest one occurred near Woodvale Road and Valley Meadow on Thursday around 12:30pm.

Police say the homeowner had just left her home when police said up to six men wearing masks and broke through the back door of glass and left the house in a box.

Police say the group may have left with a black Mercedes without a license plate.

It is not clear how the intruders choose their targets. However, the only link to these recent invasions is the large homes in an area called “South of Boulevard” in connection with Ventura Boulevard.

This is the same area where “American Idol” executives and her husband were killed about two weeks ago during an attempted robbery.

On Friday morning, residents can expect to see police in the horseback, in addition to a helicopter flyover.
