An investigation is underway into a shooting that left one man dead and two others injured in Long Beach.
According to Long Beach Police, officers were dispatched to the 6800 block of Coachella Avenue on Saturday around 9:15 p.m. for a report of shots fired.
When officers arrived on scene, they found three men suffering from gunshot wounds. All three men were taken to area hospitals, where one died, police said.

He was identified as Tyrant Otie Walker, 55, of Compton.
“The second victim was in serious but stable condition and the third victim was treated at the hospital and released,” LBPD said in a press release.
Police added that the incident is being investigated as potentially gang-related. Information about the possible suspects has not been released.
