Law enforcement is asking its citizens to look for an incarcerated man who fled from Los Angeles’ re-entry program facility on Saturday.
The California Department of Corrections (CDCR) has identified the man as a 32-year-old Dijon Barber.
According to the CDCR release, authorities were warned that Barber had removed the GPS device around 11:30am.
Staff then conducted an emergency count to confirm that Barber was missing from the Male Community Reentry Program (MCRP) facility.
Authorities did not immediately specify how the barber escaped, other than the fact that he “walked away” from the facility.
