Officers cornered the chase suspect in a parking garage in downtown Los Angeles on Monday night after a fast pursuit of the city.
The California Highway Patrol said the driver was originally required to speed the West Covina Police Department.
CHP, which later took over the tracking, described the suspicious vehicle as a maroon Chevrolet pickup truck.
The truck was chased east on the 10th highway and then moved west on the 60 highways, eventually downtown surface street.

At about 11pm, the truck was pulled into a car park near South Grand Avenue and West 8th Avenue in downtown Los Angeles.

Sky5 began covering all access points overhead as authorities surrounded the parking garage, with more law enforcement coming to help.
Sky5 was forced to leave the area and it is unclear whether the suspect was in custody.
