Costco will bring huge retail warehouses (and almost huge hot dogs) to seven new locations in several states in 2025, including two new stores in Southern California, the company announced.
All but one of the planned US locations are expected to open in March, according to the company’s website.
With dozens of Costco locations that opened in 2024 and almost 12 Costco locations that opened in 2023, additional Costco openings could be announced in subsequent updates.
However, as of Thursday, Costco’s upcoming openings were announced at their next location in March and April.
Brentwood, California (March 2025) Highland, California (March 2025) Stuart, Florida (April 2025) Sharon, Massachusetts (March 2025) Genesee County, Michigan (March 2025) Prosports, Texas (March 2025) March 2025)

With that update, Costco announced the openings for two international warehouses. One is two international warehouses located in Yamashita Prefecture, Japan and Ardeer in Victoria, Audie.
The Costco website did not provide details regarding any specific start dates. It also does not offer whether the company plans to announce additional openings in subsequent updates. Costco representatives were not immediately available to provide further information.
Which Costco products are most popular in California?
Judging from Costco’s recent growth, it is clear that the company plans to open more than seven US locations in 2025. In 2024, Costco opened 29 locations in the US, including 23, and in 2023, 23 locations in the US, including 13.
Costco CEO Ron Vachris said in December 2024 that the company hopes to open 29 new locations (including three relocated warehouses) in 2025.
Costco has yet to say whether other markets will be able to get new stores. According to reports from Nexstar’s WHTM and KTLA, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, there is a location in development, and another report is in South Los Angeles, but it is unclear when it will be open.
