An Orange County man has been arrested on suspicion of identity theft and credit card fraud targeting victims in Southern California.
The suspect was identified as Daniel Cordoba of Anaheim, according to the Tustin Police Department.
On September 27, 2024, January 2, 2025, Cordoba and the unidentified woman are said to have used stolen credit cards to purchase a large number of items at Tustin’s Costcost A.
Surveillance video was casually viewed by the pair in the store, filling their shopping cart with products.

On March 10, witnesses reportedly found Cordoba again inside a Costco store and reported the sighting to police.
The officers arrived at the business and took Cordoba into custody while he was out. During his arrest, police found 14 stolen credit cards. He was arrested for identity theft.
“It’s about 14 victims of a scam that has been saved from the world of headaches with banks today!” Tustin police said.
Details, including whether an unidentified woman was found, were not released.
