First Fox: Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has introduced laws that identifies and punishes individuals who are allegedly funding and overseeing “violent” and “extreme” immigration enforcement (ICE) and anti-Semitic protests across the country, and that funds and punishes “extreme” immigration enforcement and “extreme” protests.
The underwriting of the Malicious Protests and Extremist Riots (Suspension Fund) Act was introduced in the Senate on Tuesday. This allows the Department of Justice to use the Racket Influence and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act to enhance criminal penalties for individuals who have intensified conspiracy, property confiscation, and criminal penalties.
“All Americans have the right to free speech and peaceful protest, but they do not commit violence,” Senator Cruz told Fox News Digital. “Domestic NGOs and foreign enemies will fund US riots and undermine the safety and prosperity of Americans.

“My law gives the Department of Justice the necessary tools to keep them accountable and encourages colleagues to pass it quickly,” Cruz added.
Like in June, thousands of mobs took illegal immigrants to the streets of Los Angeles in protest of President Donald Trump’s fulfilling campaign promise to seize and secure borders. Los Angeles officials have reported more than $20 million in citywide damage from the destruction of public buildings and overtime from law enforcement.
Last week, the Department of Homeland Security revealed that assaults against ice officials had risen by 830%.

On university campuses, anti-Semitic attacks have destroyed multiple universities across the country, cancelled classes, rattling off student life since October 7, 2023.
The Prevention Measures League (ADL) reported 2,637 anti-Israel incidents of harassment, assault, protests and other attacks on university campuses from June 1, 2023 and May 31, 2024, up 628% from the same period last year.
These prominent protests have not been confirmed, yet speculated, to receive funding and direction from outside groups associated with nonprofits and wealthy individuals across the country. Last month, the House Oversight Committee began an investigation into where the funds came from, specifically focusing on China-based billionaire Neville Roy Singham.

“It is reported that Singham is the “main supporter behind” of the Socialism and Liberation Party (PSL), which organized national protests, including the Los Angeles riots,” members of GOP superintendent wrote in a letter to Singham. “He created an elaborate dark money network that could send funds to a series of nonprofits with little actual footprint, such as the United Community Fund and the Justice Education Fund. ”
Singham denied allegations stated by the New York Times in a 2023 statement, saying, ” [New York Times] I have deliberately chosen not to publish all the de facto rebuttals I provided to them on July 22, 2023 prior to the publication date. ”
” [New York Times] Singham added that it caused great harm to the freedom of the press.
Fox News Digital reached out to Singham for comment but did not receive a response in time for publication.
