Cory Booker sees, DN.J., and Ted Cruz of R-Texas were sparred Tuesday with an increased threat to federal judges during President Donald Trump’s second term. Their intense standoff comes as federal judges issued record numbers of injunctions against gusts of presidential enforcement actions.
The Testy Exchange took place during a Senate Judiciary Subcommittee hearing entitled “Arguably the Most Dangerous Branch: District Judge vs Trump.”
Subcommittee chair Cruz used his remarks at the start of the hearing to say he is “completely silent” about the judicial threats under the Biden administration, including threats to conservative Supreme Court justice.

Booker tried to respond again before Cruz could interrupt again, urging Booker to speak up.
