Exclusive: Republican Curtis Swawa, running for mayor of New York City, has blown up socialist enemy Zohran Mamdani by saying it’s hypocrisy when it comes to armed security that Mamdani has enjoyed the past few weeks.
“It’s very interesting when he returns from Uganda today, he’s been picked up by armed NYPD police officers who provide security 24 hours a day,” Sliwa told Fox News Digital on Wednesday. “So, in typical political fashion, that’s why I don’t trust politicians. ‘I’ll do as I say, but I’m not.’ He is protected by the armed NYPD, but he wants a social worker for everyone else. ”
Mamdani has been heavily criticised for being “healed” in response to his previous calls to refund police during the 2020 George Floyd Riot, saying “nature is healing,” and police officers cry in his car and labeling the NYPD as “racist.”
Mamdani also suggested sending mental health workers to a call for crime. The New York Post reported that the property is protected by heavily armed security while Mamdani was on the family’s property in Uganda and celebrated the wedding.

“I might have had police details. I said, ‘No, we need them to protect people on the streets,'” Swawa told Fox News Digital. “I was once again offered as a major party candidate, a Republican candidate, and unlike Zoran Mamdani, who couldn’t wait to bring armed guards from the NYPD, I went to the subway again. I’m on the street.
“And while he was there while he was there, he was protected by an armed command with weapons mounted on an AK-47 wearing a mask. So the holy hypocrite says, “As I say, it’s not.” If the social workers had agreed to enter the facility of the building on that Park Avenue, they would have been cut off by a bullet hi. This is absolute madness. ”
Sliwa also criticized Mamdani for his previous pledge to dissolve the New York Police Department’s Strategic Response Group (SRG).

“It’s also based on the fact that pro-Palestinian demonstrations are assigned every time they leave, and they sing, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” and they are promoting jihad,” Swawa said.
“Zohran Mamdani will have them take over the city. Let’s face it. They will probably become part of his administration,” Sliwa said. “Curtis Sliwa will stop them with their truck. They can legally demonstrate, but they must have permission. They must stay in designated areas and cannot violate the rights of other citizens who may oppose them.

New York City Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani will speak at a press conference on April 1, 2025, during a campaign outside a New York City subway station.
Fox News Digital has contacted the Mamdani campaign for comments.
Mamdani answered questions about past comments in opposition to police at a press conference on Wednesday.
“If we look at the holding crisis we have in the city today, in contrast to the conditions of this moment, trying to give it a try on a tweet five years ago is to ignore what the police officers themselves are saying,” said Mamdani, who praised the NYPD officer who was killed in a recent Midtown shooting.
The 33-year-old socialist has repeatedly said his past tweets are “clearly out of stage” with the current landscape, claiming they were made out of “frustration” about George Floyd’s death.
Mamdani also defended the details of NYPD security, saying, “My life is sadly not. There are far more threats. With that, I hope that I don’t have to take.
