Dan Bongino, who President Donald Trump chose to be deputy director of the FBI, is vowed to work for a federal agency.
“It’s an honor to serve as deputy director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation at such a critical time for our country. The American people deserve a judicial system that is transparent, accountable and committed to the rule of law,” Bongino said in X’s post Monday.
One of the photos included in the post appears to show that Bongino is sworn by FBI director Kash Patel.
Kash Patel says the FBI will investigate the rise in swatting incidents after several conservatives have been targeted.

Arizona Republican Rep. Eli Crane shared a post from Bongino, writing, “The FBI is very back.”
