Are you looking forward to Pride Month? Well, both West Hollywood and Hollywood have Pride Parade and Festivals, and we’re looking forward to two big hit events.
This transaction is as follows: The LAPRIDE Parade is a long-running LGBTQ+ event created by Christopher Street West, which traces history in the 1970s, and moved east from 2022.
Meanwhile, returning to a familiar spot for events from the past decades, West Hollywood is currently hosting its own comprehensive festival, Weho Pride, featuring a parade depicting tens of thousands of spectators, and a ticket-certified music festival, Autoloud, at West Hollywood Park (following a free Friday night concert made headhead by Maren Morris).
Here we will focus on the Weho Pride parade, but if you want information about La Pride, there is another guide dedicated to that fest. Each one will take over a different weekend, so thankfully there is no need to choose more than the other weekend. That little intro info goes out of the way, so here are everything else you need to know about this year’s Weho Pride Parade.

When is the Weho Pride parade?
The Weho Pride Parade will take place on Sunday, June 1st (the day after the Dyk March and Women’s Freedom Festival, and during the ongoing Street Fair and Outloudfest).
When does it begin?
This year’s parade will take place at Santa Monica Boulevard and North Crescent Heights Boulevard at noon.
Who is the special guest?
Model and actor Cara De Levinne will top the list of icons for this year’s Weho Pride Parade. The Guardian icons will be joined by the love of actress Nava Mau (Trailblazer icon), Spectrum Star Pari Kim (Icon of the next generation), and former NFL player Chris Kluwe (Ally Icon). Parade icons are chosen for contribution, visibility and advocacy to the LGBTQ+ community.
Where can I see the parade?
The parade runs along Santa Monica Boulevard, starting at North Crescent Heights Boulevard and heading west to North San Vicente Boulevard, just near West Hollywood Park, so find a spot along the route for floats, performances and special guests to pass by.
If you can’t do it in person, KTLA 5 will air a special two-hour broadcast of the parade on Sunday night at 8pm. It can also be streamed via KTLA+, the station’s app.
