The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a warning about a deadly E. coli outbreak linked to carrots.
A total of 39 people have been infected with E. coli in more than 18 states.
According to the CDC, 15 people have been hospitalized and one person has died.
Officials said organic whole carrots and baby carrots sold by Grimway Farms have been linked to the outbreak.

Grimway Farms has recalled the carrots involved. Multiple brands and sizes of bagged organic whole carrots and baby carrots have been recalled.
Illness has been reported in Washington, Oregon, California, Wyoming, Colorado, Texas, Minnesota, Missouri, Arkansas, Michigan, Ohio, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
The company announced a voluntary recall of the following products.

According to the CDC, most infected people experience “severe stomach cramps, diarrhea (often bloody), and vomiting.” Symptoms usually begin about 3 to 4 days after ingestion.
