DEM candidate caught on camera praises the violent rhetoric of infamous anti-Semites

Progressive Newark Mayor Las Baraka, one of the top Democratic candidates for the governor of New Jersey, has been caught up in a video of her accepting of Islam’s leader Louis Farrakhan’s radical nation, calling white people “devils” and calling violence retaliation.

The 91-year-old Farrakhan is a long-standing radical anti-Semitic preacher known for making inflammatory statements against Jews, whites and LGBTQ individuals. He also praised Adolf Hitler as a “great man” and became one of the most controversial religious figures in the United States due to his dim-minded comments about Israel.

Filmed at Newark Church in 2004, the video shows Baraka introducing Farrakhan to the congregations by calling him a major personal inspiration and “all black leaders.”

The full speech can be viewed on the Islamic State website.

“I don’t think there are any people present today who have moral authority or spiritual power,” Baraka said. “Not president, not community leader, not political international activists, no moral authority, no historical and political frameworks, Minister Farrakhan has that.

In a speech first reported by the New York Post, Baraka stood to give Farrakhan two standing ovations. The first is after Farrakhan denounced the non-violent protests of the civil rights movement, saying, “We don’t believe in non-violence. Crackers hit your jaw and you break his neck. That’s what we think.”

Baraka praises her again after Farrakhan turns white people into demons as “enemies.”

“Now the enemy is coming in. You, Crips, and Blood, they send people to give you rumours about your brother. These demons kill the cops and even blame you for it. You’re dealing with the demons.

In his speech, Farrakhan also criticized African Americans for joining the army, saying, “It’s better not to catch you by wearing the uniform of an army fighting for the enemy.” He also scorned white women, particularly white women, and denounced interracial dating.

Newark Mayor Las Baraka and Islamic leader Louis Farakan left after a current gubernatorial candidate introduced the preacher as “moral authority” during a speech in 2004. Baraka, wearing a brown sweater, applauds Farrakhan halfway through.

This was not when Baraka hosted Farrakhan and gave him a platform to speak to him.

He was the Parrakan Alliance news outlet in 2012, where Baraka hosted Farakan and reported that he spoke to more than 1,000 high school students at Central High School in Newark, and he served as principal.

News in New York, Amsterdam, reported that in 2017, Baraka organized another Farrakan speech entitled “Segregation or Death.” According to the outlet, Farrakhan defeated the US and the civil rights movement during the speech. He also called for African Americans to be compensated and to separate themselves from the state and form another nation.

Again in 2018, Essex News reported that Farrakan had given another speech in Newark. This time, I’ll be supporting Baraka directly and say, “I’ll be here tonight, stand for my mother, stand for my family, stand for you, to stand for you. That’s why I’m here tonight.”

After the video resurfaced, Baraka told a Jewish insider that she would not “walk away from the fight for justice and silence it.”

“I’m not caught up in denounceing my lifelong work for peace, equality and fairness,” Baraka said. “These latest accusations and insinuations are not merely wrong. They reflect the horrors my candidacy is provoking with political establishment.”

“The Islamic State has deep respect in many parts of the Black community for the work they have done to reduce violence and support self-determination in neglected and abandoned neighbours for generations,” he added.

Farrakhan is notorious for his hated comments on white people and Jews who have been closely monitored by the Prevention and Prevention League (ADL) and the Southern Poverty Law Centre (SPLC) for several years. Calling Farrakhan “one of the most prominent anti-Semies,” the ADL lists dozens of quotes on its website, including some from past speeches on Saviors Day. The SPLC classifies Islamic nations as hatred groups.

Fox News Digital has exposed several Democrats to embrace Farrakhan, including multiple pastors, Democrats, Left-wing Hop Caucus events, Fields Coordinator Terence Muhammad and top staff member Elissa Slotkin Sen. Terra Defoe.

Baraka’s campaign website calls for voters to “rethink New Jersey.” As a state where we are together regardless of postcode, race, gender, nationality.

His website also includes comments he made to Grove, New Jersey, where he “dismantles the state’s budget and rebuilds it fairly as a North Star. Decide all decisions as either a step towards equality or a step towards inequality.”

Baraka did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment by the time of publication.
