Senate Democrats opposed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in a late-night session on Wednesday, ahead of a confirmation slip that could potentially become the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Kennedy’s confirmation vote is expected at about 10:30am on Thursday, but the Democrat senator spent the night before former President Donald Trump’s HHS chose many issues.
Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer, DN.Y., holds Kennedy’s views as “clearly unqualified” and “clearly fringe” and “clearly harmful to the well-being of the American people.” He explained that he is.
“Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is not remotely qualified to become the next Department of Health and Human Services secretary,” Schumer said. “Robert F. Kennedy may be the most unqualified person the president may have chosen for his job. He said that Kennedy’s beliefs, history and background are the exact opposite of what the job demands. It seems like they’re in harmony.”

Schumer, referring to newly confirmed national intelligence directors, Kennedy and Tarsi Gabbard, denounced Republican senators “no matter how fringed they are, rubber people.”
“HHS is an institution that relies on science, evidence and equity to ensure the well-being of over 330 million Americans. HHS is a system that relies on science, evidence and equity to ensure the well-being of over 330 million Americans. HHS eats safe foods, buys reliable medicines, and is a company that offers Medicare. Supervise benefits and approve the use of life-saving vaccines. Importantly, a good HHS secretary is to ensure that Americans have access to affordable, high-quality health care. “He is a doctor But he’s not a scientist, a public health expert, or a policy expert of any kind. If Kennedy is confirmed in light of his lack of background, he’s made the war on Donald Trump’s healthcare into rubber. I’m deeply afraid to stamp, meaning that I’ve seen many of the disastrous funding cuts over the last few weeks, which means that more people will lose their health insurance. That means The profits of commercial companies and major pharmaceutical companies mean that they come before the needs of Americans.”
On the Senate floor, D-Vt. Senator Peter Welch has read again a letter from Kennedy’s cousin Caroline Kennedy, who served as US ambassador for Australia under the Biden administration.
Her letter, which she announced last month prior to the Senate confirmation hearing of RFK Jr., said, “Now that Bobby has been appointed secretary to the Department of Health and Human Services by President Trump, and that is what the American people in charge are in charge of him. Health, I feel an obligation to oversee the FDA, NIH, CDC, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which are responsible for protecting the most vulnerable people among us. Bobby is involved in the government finances involved. It cannot fill management or medical expertise.
Caroline Kennedy continues, “I know Bobby for the rest of my life. We grew up together. He is a predator himself, so it’s amazing that he keeps a bird of prey as a pet. Not.” Her letter states, “He may encourage younger generations to attend AA meetings, but Bobby gets hooked on attention and power. They’ll vaccine theirs.”
“My view? Robert Kennedy has spent his considerable talent to promote misinformation on vulnerable people who have the motivations we all have. That’s the people we love. “The happiness of the company. They are not based on science at all, but they appeal to people’s distrust of the standard medical profession,” Welch said. “He uses the magic of Kennedy’s name to promote it. The credibility that comes from being one of the most starry political families in our country’s history.”

Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) came to the floor and expressed his “strong opposition” to Kennedy.
The Doge subcommittee will hold its first hearing to condemn the 36t of national debt, as House Republicans have declared “war on waste.”
“Kennedy says he will always follow the evidence, no matter where it goes.
The senator said Kennedy “has no experience or qualifications for the majority” of the wide range of subjects covered by HHS. and also includes programs for early childhood development, seniors and disabled people, making it accessible to Americans with access to commercial options.
“I don’t think one secretary at HHS can know everything. But if you monitor the hearing and hear Mr. Kennedy’s answer, Mr. Kennedy has virtually nothing on all these important subjects. You can see things you don’t know,” he said.
Van Hollen quoted former President John F. Kennedy. He said he hopes that the updated drive to provide vaccinations to all Americans, especially young people, will gain the heartfelt support of all American parents. Ta. “
“Unfortunately, his nephew, RFK Jr, unraveled that tough victory decade by spreading lies and conspiracy theories about vaccines,” Van Hollen said.

Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) also had problems with the infamy of Kennedy’s name.
“I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that there are very few people in this country who are less qualified to run this agency than Robert Kennedy Jr.,” Murphy said. “I say that very enthusiastic about our health system and the ability to take some of the wildest conspiracy theories on the internet about our children, very common and very influential. Or, about our family, we internalize them and spread them in ways that cause great damage.”
Senator Andy Kim said, “We live in the most distrust of the most seen in this country. It is clear and most prominent about our health. We are One of the people we need to trust most in our country is the one who runs the Ministry of Health and Human Services.”
After meeting with Kennedy and reviewing the statement, Kim said, “He’s not someone I can trust in my health and I can’t vote for him conscientiously.”
“If I can’t trust him in the health of my children, how can I ask 9 million other New Jersey families to do that?” Kim said. “He reduces his trust in the very healthcare he is responsible for too often, and spreads too much disinformation about the illnesses, challenges and threats we face.”

When Kennedy’s supporters acknowledge the way he claims he is “fighting a broken system” and “simply wanting to make Americans healthy,” Kim said, “Unfortunately, most of the things that come out of this administration are He said corruption and plot seem to be disguised. The promise of change.”
Kim opposes Kennedy’s claim that his father is disabled by polio, his mother has Lyme disease, and that Lyme disease may have been designed by the military, and polio vaccines increase cancer He said it could be related to rates.
