First on FOX: The fundraising group dedicated to helping Democrats flip the Republican seats is to release a dark new ad that hopes to support young men’s left-wing victory ahead of the 2026 race.
The Progress Action Fund is drawing attention to viral ads of risks featuring fictional “Republican lawmakers” who infringe private moments in bedrooms, bathrooms and hospitals to implement so-called conservative policies, such as gender, abortion and denial of care for Medicare patients.
The new clip features a dating couple consisting of white men with blonde hair, with women having skin and dark hair.
“We had a really good time today,” the man says in the video. The woman begins to respond, “I did it too,” before being forced into restraint by a masked agent, and the woman is dragged out.

The voice says off-screen when the couple is dragged over “she’s coming with us.”
“What are you talking about? Who are you?” the man cried.
Then an elderly white-haired white man stepped onto the screen, “I’m your Republican lawmaker. We’re in charge now, so we’re closing out the illegals.”
The woman continues to scream, “She was born here, she is a citizen.”
“I don’t care. She looks like one of them,” replies “Republican.” “But don’t worry. When she’s in a prison in El Salvador, she’s going to have a lot of companies.”
The ad concludes with President Donald Trump talking to El Salvador President Naiib Buquere at the White House earlier this year, suggesting he is open to sending “homemade” criminals to foreign prisons alongside non-American exiles.
Obama administration alumnus Joe Jacobson, who founded and runs the Progress Action Action Fund, told Fox News Digital that his PAC tests show that ads are strong for younger men.

“We’re 31 years old after seeing the ads, after seeing the young man, and our target demonstration is to bring back the young man in 2026 after beating 30 points.
“And that’s not easy. Given that Democrats haven’t found a message for young men, they’re reaching out and getting involved.”
Republicans and the White House dismissed the ad as “a horror fuss.”
Democrats have been wrestling after the 2024 election to find a cohesive message to voters. In particular, a young man who narrowly went to Trump after former President Joe Biden won demographics in 2020.
However, Jacobson said the ads that set up the latest clips for the Tones Line Progress Action Fund are strong.
“If you’re a young man and you’re looking for a girlfriend or a girlfriend, the last thing you want is that you know, to come to your girlfriend, an American citizen, and take your girlfriend away, simply because she’s a Latino or ice official profiled racially,” Jacobson said.

He noted that immigration has been an important issue for Republican platforms for many years, and this time Democrats will seize momentum given Trump’s strict policies.
“This has always been a problem, and Donald Trump is making immigrants even more weaponized, and I know he has some kind of mandate. He told people that he is a criminal who breaks the law, a violent criminal, an immigrant, and that people are declining because of that.
“But he has no mission to expel people who work in hotels, farms and car shops.”
It comes amidst the protests across multiple democratic cities over Trump’s immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) crackdown.
But immigration and border security proved a strong problem for Republicans across the country in 2024. Cities that crossed the US-Mexico border felt tensions that the GOP condemned the Biden administration’s border policy.

However, the Progressive Action Fund is betting on Trump’s response, which will benefit the left more than mid-2026.
Jacobson said his group’s investment in advertising is in the “mid-six-figure range” and will be the first to hit social media before gaining more targeted placements in swing states and districts.
Both the National Republican Congressional Committee and the White House have panned the ads for comment.
“The Democrats have lost the plot completely when they think that such a creepy and inconsistent ad will beat younger voters. Not that one person is falling for this pathetic, fearless nonsense,” said NRCC spokesman Mike Marinella.
“It would be more efficient for Democrats to burn and light their money, rather than terrifying with stupid ads,” White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson told Fox News Digital.
